Setting up in various spaces around Brisbane, Black Ox Dining is a contemporary pop up restaurant that brings nature to the table through unique underground dining experiences for small number of guests.
Since launching our first public event in 2017, We have worked closely with local growers and farmers to incorporate organic farming principles to improve the land that our food is grown on. In addition to improving the land through farming, we also look to the local environment surrounding Brisbane to forage seasonal and unique native fruits, vegetables and weeds. Principles for local produce are employed through Bee Hives set up around the Paddington area, community vegetable garden plots and a farm in Allora .
An ever changing tasting menu utilises produce from our own vegetable plot, local growers, the surrounding land and local farmers to showcase a unique and contemporary menu built around respect for nature and seasonality.
